Our Deluxe Houseboat Shama is located on Dal Lake, front line.

The boat is made of the finest cedar wood. It contains two spacious bedrooms with attached bathroom and toilet. Each bedroom is fitted with a fan, wardrobe and heating system.

In the common living and dining room it is pleasant to relax, read, sit together and talk or to feel at home. The walnut wood furniture, silk Kashmir carpets and hand embroidered curtains make it into a stunningly beautiful place. At the front balcony you experience the soothing feeling of water passing by. The sun deck provides a beautiful view on the snowy mountain tops, which surround the valley. All this with a cup of Kawa (Kashmiri tea) or coffee, served by someone of the family.

The Kashmiri hospitality is something we truly honour. During your stay at the houseboat, we ensure that there is always someone at the boat. This person will take care of you, serve breakfast and dinner and will answer to your demands. You may ask this person to assist you with currency exchange, laundry, ticketing and car rental services. He or she can also help with planning excursion trips and tours or trekking throughout the Kashmir Valley.
